What does Hazakura mean?
In Japanese culture, hazakura, or the scattering of cherry blossom petals, represents the fleeting and transient nature of life and beauty. The falling petals are often associated with themes of impermanence, renewal, and the cycle of life. They also serve as a reminder to appreciate the present moment and to embrace change gracefully. Additionally, hazakura is often celebrated in poetry, literature, art, and its beauty is admired during traditional Hanami (cherry blossom viewing) festivals in Japan.
