Therapy for Couples
Helping couples reconnect to the person who matters most.
You love each other, but things aren’t as easy as they used to be.
You fight to protect and grow your relationship, but no matter how hard you try, you always seem to end up in the same place: exhausted, lonely, and stuck. You feel like you’ve got no moves left to help your partner and the relationship. You find glimmers of hope in moments of conversation but some days the pain and frustration in the relationship make you uncertain about the relationship's future. Something needs to change…
You’re ready to:
Understand why your relationship keeps getting stuck, so you can change the pattern
See your partner’s point of view without giving up on your perspective
Better navigate the differences in culture and upbringing that impact your relationship
Clear up miscommunication and feel more effective in helping your partner
Feel heard, supported, and understood in your relationship
Equip your relationship for future success and security
Meet Brandon
The pain you feel in your relationship isn’t a mystery; it’s a predictable pattern that can be changed.
I am a therapist who specializes in guiding you through the stuck places and patterns of your relationships.
I bring a safe, practical, and transparent approach to therapy. I’m especially skilled at walking between worlds, and I don’t run away from the painful and lonely places of life and relationships.
I love working with people who are open to change and curious about the experiences of others — they’re the ones who I see make the most progress in working with me.
I don’t believe in homework for couples because we’ll make changes right there in the room together. When you take risks to improve your relationship, I want to be there to help.
Ready to get started?
-
Submit a request for therapy by clicking here or on any of the "Schedule Consult" buttons on the website. I will contact you within one business day to set up a free 20-minute video call to talk about your goals and my process.
-
Once we decide to move forward, we will schedule the first four assessment appointments. This is ideally done in the first week, but we can adjust as necessary for your scheduling conflicts. Our first session will allow me to better understand the goals and challenges in your relationship. The next two sessions will be individual for me to get to know your individual histories and families. The last assessment session will focus on understanding the disconnecting patterns in your relationship and making a final determination if we are a good fit for therapy.
-
We will find a regularly occurring 90-minute appointment slot and start tracking your negative cycle. You will be challenged, but I also promise that we'll laugh together and you may even enjoy yourself as we do the hard but meaningful work of restoring your relationship.
How We’ll Work Together
Weekly Therapy
If you prefer to make progress steadily over time, we can meet on a weekly basis for 55- or 85-minute sessions.
Intensive Therapy
For quicker results, a therapy intensive may be a good fit for you. Like a large dose of therapy at once, an intensive helps you find relief faster. 2- and 3-day options available.
Adjunct Therapy
If you’re already working with another therapist - either in individual or couples thearpy - and finding the work there helpful, great! EFT can be a powerful addition to your work by helping to break through a specific barrier or accelerate your healing as you continue working with your therapist. Adjunct therapy can occur via ongoing or intensive therapy and support both couples and individual work.

This is compared to a 35% success rate of the next leading treatment.
-
Gottman, a leading researcher in relationships, found that 70% of couples who sought out couples therapy with a couples therapist experienced positive changes in their relationship. A well-trained couples therapist can help couples break out of unhealthy patterns and help restore connection.
